Despite rumors, Jane will not be in the Muppets movie despite many rumors.
The Emmy-winning actress told The Hollywood Reporter on Saturday night at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center’s 39th annual gala fund-raiser that she has not been approached to participate in the project being written by “How I Met Your Mother’s Jason Segel and Nicholas Stoller (“Yes Man”).
“I’m not doing the Muppets movie,” Lynch said. “They haven’t asked me. I would do it if they asked me.”

Evidently many more are joining including Jack Black, Donald Glover, Jane Lynch, Danny Trejo, Zach Galifianakis—who had been reported to be in negotiations a few weeks ago—though it’s unknown if their parts are those aforementioned celebrity cameos or actually a tangible part of the film’s plot (our guess is the former).
This is definitely exciting, a new project for Jane! I will keep you all informed with updates on this movie and other projects!
